Psittacus Mini Hand Feeding
This product is intended for the hand-rearing small size granivorous parrot species (genera Nymphicus, Eolophus, Aratinga, Platycercus ....). It is a follow-on hand feeding formula, and should be used from the moment pin feathers begin to emerge until weaning. For example, in cockatiels it is used from the second week of life.It is formulated to constitute 100% of the parrot's diet during this period.

Mix with lukewarm water at a concentration of 20-25 % (similar texture to a shaken yogurt).
The average intake is around 7-10 ml per 100 g of body weight and feeding bout. The number of feeding bouts per day depends on the stage of development of the chick. The crop should be full but not overstuffed.
Confirm that the crop is empty in the morning. It is advisable to use a first-age hand feeding formula for younger birds like Psittacus Psittacine Crop Milk. At weaning switch progressively to Psittacus mini. The leftover formula must be discarded after each feeding bout.
Once the package is opened, store it in an air-tight container in a cool, dry place. While refrigeration is not advisable, freezing is possible if the package is hermetically sealed.
