Take note:
Dogs and cats eating high levels of cooked food may need to remain on therapeutic levels. Omega-3 levels can be corrected in 2 to 3 weeks using a daily supplement of flax oil. Supplementation can be continued indefinitely but is more essential on a cooked diet and less necessary on a raw food diet.
